It was homecoming week for the Jerome Tigers as they welcomed in conference opponent Canyon Ridge on Friday, September 22. This was the game that the Tigers were hoping would change things around after dropping two tough road games.

The game was huge for both teams as 3 teams out of the district will get to go to the play-offs. Unfortunately, it was all Canyon Ridge as they went on to win 46-28.

The Tigers were down by a touchdown early after losing the opening possession with an onside kick. They responded though with a 50-yard touchdown run from Senior Fullback Colten Craig.

The Tigers struggled though to control the running game of Canyon Ridge as they continued to run the ball, ending the night with 311 yards rushing.

The Tigers (2-3) (1-1) will be back in action as they welcome the 3A non-conference foes from Sugar-Salem(3-1).
