The crowd was cheering, people were on their feet, and it was an intense game. The Jerome Varsity Basketball Girls lost by one when they went against Pocatello on Friday, November 10th. This was their first game of the season which was non-conference. The girls fought a good fight and worked their hardest. During the first half of the game the Tigers had a 10 point lead. But when second half came along, it started getting a little bit harder for the girls.

There is still lots of things for the Jerome Lady Tigers to work on. Head Coach and Varsity Coach Jeremy Munroe said that there are many things for the girls to work on, especially free throws. It’s only the second week of the season and they still have a lot to improve and to get better at.

At the end the game the Tigers lost by 58-59 against the Pocatello Indians. The girls are back at it again on the road to Filer on Friday, November 17 at 7:30.
