The case of defendant Mr. Carey Friendly (Braydon Ahrens) who was charged with possession of stolen property and battery against a police officer. The defending side (attorneys Robert Marshall and Cody Jackson) brought forth witnesses Dana Smith (Preston Couch), who was with the defendant the entire day; Terry Nelson (James Dilworth), a party goer; Tracy Bell (Janae Swenson), a good friend of the defendant; and Friendly himself to prove his innocence.

The prosecuting side (attorneys Sierra Gibbons and Annabelle Day) called witnesses Sam Story (Gavin Thompson), the officer who was allegedly attacked; Robin Sanford (Jaileen Arevalo), partner to Officer Story; Shawna Richards (Areli Morfin), a good friend of the defendant; and Julie Young (Angelina Henry), who saw the incident at the party to prove, beyond reasonable doubt, that Friendly was guilty of both charges.

Serving as clerk was Jeanette DelCid and the two bailiffs were Josh Luna and Ascencion (Scooby) Escobedo.

The jury unanimously agreed to Friendly’s innocence in the first charge and was unable to reach a conclusion on the second.
