Tuesday night, the Jerome Lady Tigers soccer team said goodbye to 5 of their seniors. Lots of tears were shed as they said goodbye to some of their most dedicated players. Aside from celebrating the seniors, the Jerome Lady Tigers also celebrated a huge win over Gooding, 7-0.

The game started with Gooding having kickoff. Since the start of the game, Jerome was able to keep control of the ball and have many shots on goal. Although Jerome ended up winning the game by a landslide, their game and tactics weren’t the best. Many of the players mentioned that it wasn’t their best game, “but Gooding wasn’t a hard team to play against.”

During half time, the seniors were recognized. The rest of the underclassmen presented them with gift baskets and balloons. Overall the 5 seniors, Yesenia Pulido, Antonia Gutierrez, Bianca Vasquez, Julie Henry, and Ana Anaya, were very content as they remembered all the fun times that they had.

Volleyball senior night will be on Thursday, October 4th at 7:30 p.m. Go out and support the Class of 2019. Don’t forget to wear pink since it is also their Pink Night.
