Coop

This week’s faculty is Mr. Cooper. He had a long journey and lots of experience to get to the point that he is right now. He did many things throughout his life that help him in the things that he does right now. Mr. Cooper was in the military when he was 18 – 19 years old and worked there as a paramedic for two days a week. When he was done with that he started working with kids and he said that’s when he realized that he liked doing it. Once when he was done with that he started working as a probation officer and then he got a degree. He was working as a PSR for 28 years. He did a lot of things to get to this. He has an impact class for people that need help socializing and help them boost their confidence. He tries to get them motivated for the rest of their days. He has a title for behavioral health specialist and a title for Drug and alcohol counselor and he has been doing that for 15 years. He has recently been the Driver Ed instructor and he has been doing that for 3 years. Some things that he loves about his jobs is that everyday is different. He doesn’t really know what will come up each day that he goes to work. He loves working with kids’ emotions and he feels like they’re true emotions. He likes helping out teens know how they feel and help out with their problems. Many students at the Jerome High School when they have a problem or need help on something they go to him. Students say they love how calm he is and the way he helps. Mr. Cooper is a great help for everyone and is just a great person in general.
