2 Men Killed in Tesla With No Driver Present

The 2019 Tesla Model S was travelling at a high speed when it failed to negotiate a curve on a winding road. The victims were both in their 50s. One was found in the front passenger seat and the other was in the back of the vehicle. Tesla’s chief said data recovered so far showed Autopilot was not enabled.

The tesla Model S smashed into a tree and it burst into flames killing the man in the front seat. Witnesses said that the accident happened shortly after the victims left a house. They didn’t identify the other body until tuesday.

Since there was no driver in the passenger seat and Tesla chief said that the autopilot was not enabled then the case is still under investigation. On the tesla website it says that people should not take their hands off the wheel in case the system is not able to steer on its own. Standard autopilot would require lane lines to turn on which the street didn’t have.

Based on everything that has been said people should always be careful when using autopilot. Autopilot may not always work; it can cause so much damage or it can even cause death.
